The autumn series of Tampere Residents’ Evenings concludes with an English-language event at Tampere City Hall on 5 November 2026. During the evening, participants will discuss opportunities for Tampere residents to participate and have their say, as well as how the city should be developed from the perspective of international residents.

New community meeting places open to Tampere residents of all ages will be launched in October at Hervanta Leisure Centre and Kaukajärvi Community Centre.

The Older People’s Council of the City of Tampere will take part in the Rollator March on Friday, 8 May 2026. The march sets off from Koskikatu at 2.00 pm and proceeds via Hämeensilta to Laikunlava, where there will be programme until 4.00 pm.

Recently retired residents of Tampere are active, and many report a strong sense of wellbeing.
