As was the case last summer, you can check up-to-date water temperature data for Tampere’s beaches from 1 June through 9 August via the Outdoor Sports Conditions Service, which also provides information on blue-green algae conditions at the beaches.

The summer season of Tampere Outdoor Swimming Pool starts off on a great note, as we invite everyone under 18 to enjoy the free Outdoor Swimming Pool for the whole month of May.

Swimming water temperature and blue-green algae data are updated in the Outdoor Sports Conditions Service.

During the summer, Sports Services will test a new approach in five school halls and two sports facilities.

As last summer, up-to-date bathing water temperature data for Tampere beaches can be monitored from 2 June to 10 August at the Outdoor Sports Conditions Service, which also provides information on the blue-green algae situation at the beaches.

The swimming season opens on Friday 9 May, when the gates open at 6.30 in the morning.
