By doing this you can notice possible changes in their activities and are able to offer them your skillset as an appropriate opportunity emerges.

A wage subsidy is financial support that the City of Tampere Employment and Growth Services may grant to an employer to cover the wage costs of an unemployed jobseeker. You OMA coach will assess with you whether a wage subsidy is possible in your situation. Ask more from your OMA coach.

Work try-out allows you to familiarize yourself with working life. You can experience a variety of tasks and fields, which helps you in identifying your suitability for different jobs. Its aim is to clarify your career plans. It can also support your return to the labour market after a long absence. Ask more from your OMA coach.

Vocational labour market training strengthens your professional aptitudes. You may qualify for it if you are in-between jobs or at risk of becoming unemployed. It mainly consists of vocational education and training in view of vocational upper secondary, further, or complementary qualifications. Labour market training is free of charge, entitles you to the same benefits that you would receive when unemployed, and includes possible compensation for travel and maintenance costs too.
