Libraries on summer hours 1 June - 31 Aug, Messukylä and Vuores libraries closed for part of the summer
Libraries will be operating on summer hours from 1 June to 31 August. This may result in changes to the opening hours of the library you use. Check the summer hours below.
The Messukylä Library will be closed from 17 June to 4 August due to air conditioning renovations. Read more about the renovations: Messukylä Library closed 17 June–4 August.
The Vuores Library will be closed from 1 to 31 July.
Midsummer affects the opening hours of libraries
Midsummer affects the opening hours of Tampere libraries from 18 to 20 June, 2026. Self-service libraries will be open as usual. There are exceptions to the self-service opening hours at Lielahti. Check the libraries' opening hours for possible exceptions at your library.
