Welcome to the Lielahti Manor Cultural Centre
Lielahti Manor hosts free events and cultural programmes throughout the year. The manor is home to artist anc cultural community and rentable artists’ studios. There are also a cosy café, event and meeting facilities, and open community spaces. Visitors can also learn about the development phases of Hiedanranta and the construction of the new district.
The cultural centre is temporary in nature, as the manor is awaiting a major renovation planned to begin around 2030.

Hours of operation and Café Kartano
Lielahti Manor is open year-round during Café Kartano’s opening hours, as well as during events and functions.
Café Kartano is a vintage-inspired café catering for a coffee break, lunch, bruch, meetings and events, as well as private functions. The café is located on the first floor of the manor and can be accessed from both sides of the building. Good food, culture and community come togerher at Café Kartano.
Getting there
Lielahti Manor is located in the western part of Tampere, in Hiedanranta district on the shore of Lake Näsijärvi. The area is easily accessible by both tram and bus. From Keskustori Central Square, take the tram number 1 towards Lentävänniemi. Both Hiedanranta and Tehdas stops are reachable in less than 15 minutes. Bus stops C and D, as well as park-and-ride facilities, are located near the Hiedanranta transfer point.
It is also easy to reach the area by bike or on foot, as there are several pedestrian and cycle path routes leading there.
Visitors arriving by car can access the area via Tehdaskartanonkatu. A parking area is located close to Lielahti Manor. During events, a separate event parking area is available. Short-term parking is free for the first two hours. After that, parking costs €1.00 per hour from Monday to Saturday between 8:00 and 22:00. Overnight, between 22:00 and 8:00, parking costs €0.50 per hour. The daily maximum parking fee is €6.00. Parking is free on Sundays. A service fee charged by Moovy is added to all parking payments.
Parking can be paid using the Moovy app or by debit and credit card at the payment terminal located at the end of the Hiedanranta Workshop building (Paja), at Tehdaskartanonkatu 46. The payment terminal will be introduced in early autumn. Additional mobile payment applications will also be added as payment options. Cash payments are not accepted.

Accessibility
When entering through the main entrance, there is a short flight of stairs leading to the first floor of the manor. The stairs do not have handrails. A platform lift is located alongside the stairs. The lift can be used with a rollator, wheelchair, or pram, or while standing. Instructions for using the platform lift are available next to the lift, and staff are happy to assist.
The café is accessed through the first-floor lobby. It can also be reached via the terrace in Manor Park (Kartanonpuisto), which is accessible by stairs only and does not have a ramp.
The second floor is reached by a long staircase without handrails. There is no lift in the building.
The manor's toilet facilities are located along the corridors on the first and second floors. There are three toilets on the first floor, one of which is accessible.
The Hiedanranta parking area is located at the end of Tehdaskartanonkatu, close to the manor. There are no designated accessible parking spaces in the area. Short-term parking is free for the first two hours. For more information, see the Getting There -section. Visitors can be dropped off near the entrance of the building.
