Event and venue rentals at Lielahti Manor
This beautiful manor setting, just a 12-minute tram ride from the city centre, offers a unique setting for various events, functions, and gatherings. Various spaces can be used for events, courses, workshops, meetings, or group activities. In addition, the spaces are available for rent for private events under certain conditions. We welcome a wide variety of events to the manor and are happy to collaborate with different event organizers! For events, different spaces can be combined to create a larger venue. Spaces can be rented on a one-time basis or for regular use.
During the day, while Café Kartano is open, most of the spaces are available for rent through the Varaamo service. At other times, reservations can be made for regular, recurring events, performing arts events open to the public, or private events for which catering is ordered from the café. For inquiries about renting the spaces outside the café’s opening hours, please contact the Coordinators (contact information at the bottom of the page).
Rentals are subject to the City of Tampere’s general terms and conditions for the reservation and use of facilities.
The Manor Lobby
The atmospheric lobby is suitable for smaller events and gatherings such as gigs, networking events, concerts, performances, lectures, and photo shoots. Reservations for the lobby are made on a case-by-case basis. Ask the Coordinators for more information (contact information at the bottom of the page).
The lobby can accommodate seating for approximately 40 people. The lobby provides access to the adjacent facilities, including Café Kartano, the Inspiration Library, and the manor’s restroom facilities. As it serves as a passageway to these spaces, it cannot be closed during the manor’s opening hours. The lobby is part of the café’s licensed serving area, which means guests may consume products purchased from the café there, including alcoholic beverages.
Please note! The lobby is only available for private events when catering is provided by Café Kartano.
Meeting room Marie
The Marie meeting room, located on the first floor of the manor, offers a cozy setting for meetings, workshops, group sessions, courses, and other small events. The room can accommodate up to 15 people. A screen with an HDMI connection is available in the room.
The room provides access to the manor’s terrace and the Manor Park.
The space can be reserved for one-time use or on a regular basis. Marie can be reserved during the day, while Café Kartano is open, through the Varaamo service. Events outside the café’s opening hours can be held provided that refreshments are ordered from the café.
Multipurpose space Wilhelm
Located on the second floor of the manor, the 56 m² Wilhelm space is well-suited for a variety of creative activities, performances, courses, workshops, theater rehearsals, yoga, dance, and group classes. The space is unfurnished. Chairs and tables are available outside the room and must be moved by users themselves. Exercise mats are available for use in the room.
Wilhelm can be booked for one-time events or regular activities. Book the space during the day, while Café Kartano is open, directly through the Varaamo service.
Wilhelm is not accessible; it is located on the second floor of the manor, which does not have an elevator.
Inspiration Library
The Inspiration Library is a space that exudes the atmosphere of the manor, located next to the manor’s lobby and café. The Inspiration Library features a desk and chair, as well as a cozy sofa set. The space is well-suited for book clubs, discussion groups, and small private events and meetings.
The Inspiration Library is open to visitors while the café is open. When reserved, the room can be closed off as a private space, offering peace and privacy. The space cannot be reserved through the Varaamo service; please contact the Coordinators (contact information at the bottom of the page).

This price list is valid starting January 1, 2026. Prices include 25.5% value-added tax.

Prices are reviewed annually, so it is important to take potential price changes into account, especially when booking for the following year. We reserve the right to make changes.

Manor Parks
The Kartanopuisto (Manor Park) is situated between the manor house and the lake. In this romantic park, you can host events on the shores of Lake Näsijärvi, shaded by old trees. The park has been restored to its original splendor, so here the beauty of nature blends with a distinguished historical setting. The Kartanopuisto has hosted Garden Parties, offered a peaceful setting for park yoga, and provided a venue for park concerts on summer evenings. Since the Manor Park dates back to the 19th century, it is not possible to erect stage structures there.
The Tapahtumapuisto (Event Park), located between the manor house and the old Hiedanranta water treatment plant, offers a sheltered atmosphere and an interesting backdrop for events. The Tapahtumapuisto offers a wide range of possibilities for organizing events, such as concerts and other activities.
Park areas may be made available for events at the discretion of the park authorities, provided that the city’s parks are public spaces and access to them cannot be restricted. Parks cannot be reserved for private events. Ask the Coordinators for more information (contact information at the bottom of the page).
