Termination of a place in preschool education

Pre-school education

Pre-primary education is compulsory. The child's guardian is responsible for ensuring that the child attends pre-primary education or other activities that meet the objectives of pre-primary education. 
If the family moves to another location, the preschool place in the City of Tampere is cancelled electronically via the Early Childhood Education online application. In addition, it is a good idea to contact the child's pre-school place.  

Activities complementing pre-primary education

A pre-school club place and an early childhood education place complementary to pre-school education can be terminated electronically via the Early Childhood Education online application. It is also advisable to contact your child's pre-school place.  
Please note that the fee for the pre-school club is charged for the whole month.

If it is not possible to use the electronic service, you can give notice on a paper form. The form must be returned to the child's pre-school place.
