Baby and family days at Tampere city museums

The museums in Tampere offer enjoyable moments for children and adults alike, through art and history.

Tampere Art Museum

The Tampere Art Museum has baby days about once a month. During the day, there is a short guided tour designed for babies and toddlers.

Family days are organized twice a year, in spring and autumn. The day's program is planned separately for each exhibition. The program takes into account both younger and older children in the family.

The program of all event days is included in the admission fee.

Baby days

Adult's entry fee €4.00 all day with a child under three years old. Children under 7 years old are always free.

• Wednesday 9 December Baby- and toddler-paced guided tour in Finnish at 11 am.

Moomin Museum

Adult admission €4.00 with a child under three years old for the whole day (one adult per child). Children under 7 years old are always free.

Museum center Vapriikki

Vapriikki's family mornings

The family morning theme exhibition is open from 9-10 am (doors open at 8:45 am), allowing families to explore the exhibition in peace before the museum opens. Vapriikki opens to everyone at 10 am. On family mornings, children under 7 years old can enter the museum for free, and everyone over 7 years old for only €4.00! The ticket offer is valid only for the family morning theme exhibition from 9-10 am. Ticket sales end at 9:45 am. (Not for groups!) The program is included in the admission fee. The museum shop is open from 9 am onwards.
