General secondary education in seven upper secondary schools in Tampere. At the end of your studies, you will complete the national matriculation examination.

You can study for a higher education degree at a Tampere University, Tampere University of Applied Sciences or Police University College.

Compulsory education continues until the age of 18, and everyone must study after completing basic education.
