How Much Does a Parking Permit Cost?

Resident parking permit:

  • Zones A–K: €25/month or €300/year
  • Zone L: €12.50/month or €150/year

Guest parking permit:

  • €5/day

Business parking permit for one permit zone:

  • Zones A–K: €560/year or €46.70/month
  • Zone L: €280/year or €23.30/month

Business parking permit Z:

  • €1,000/year

Commuter parking permit:

  • Zones F, G, H, J, K: €56/month (equal to the current price of a public transport AB-zone 30-day ticket)
  • Zone L: €28/month

Car-sharing parking permit:

  • €50/year

Home care parking permit:

  • €150/year or €12.50/month

Prices include VAT (25.5%).

Resident, business, and commuter parking permits can be paid for via online banking in the eParking system. Guest parking permits can be paid for in the eParking system using a credit card.All permits can also be paid at the Frenckell Service Point at the city’s payment counter, using cash, debit card, or credit card.

Parking Discount for Person-to-Person Rental Vehicles

A discount on the resident parking permit fee is available if the permit holder links their permitted vehicle to a person-to-person car rental service.

  • 75% discount for fully electric vehicles
  • 50% discount for other vehicles

To qualify for the discount, the vehicle must have been rented out at least once per month. The discount applies per permit, not per user or vehicle. The discount is granted twice a year, in June and December, for vehicles connected to a person-to-person rental platform. To receive the discount, the application form below must be completed and submitted to the City of Tampere.
