The changing rooms at the beaches are open during the bathing season from June to August.

You can check the water temperature and algae conditions of the bathing water at Tampere's beaches and bathing sites at the Outdoor Sports Conditions Service, link to the service on the page below. Temperature measurements will be taken until 10 August.

The busiest beaches are cleaned by summer cleaners on weekdays. Pyynikki beach has a lifeguard service on weekdays from 10.30 am to 6 pm. There is a new accessible beach with a ramp to the lake on the Pyynikki beach.

Tampereen Infra is responsible for the maintenance of Tampere beaches. Maintenance includes cleaning, repair, construction and safety on the beaches.
