Changing the early childhood education and care place

Families have the option of applying for a transfer from one municipal daycare centre to another. A transfer from a service voucher daycare centre to municipal daycare is also possible or from a municipal daycare centre to a voucher daycare centre. 

File your transfer application using the eVaka Tampere online service.

As a rule, the transfers can be carried out starting from the month of August. If the child’s current care place is discontinued, the transfer application will also be removed. 

When transferring out of a service voucher daycare centre, the family must consider the notice period and contact the manager of their daycare centre. For more information, contact the customer service for early childhood education and care and pre-primary education.
