Early childhood education and care invoicing
You will receive a bill for early childhood education and care in accordance with the current fee or valuation decision. July is a fee-free month if early childhood education and care began no later than August of the previous year and has continued uninterrupted. No fee is charged for July, even if the child is in early childhood education and care at that time.
If a child’s early childhood education and care begins or ends in the middle of a calendar month, a reduced monthly fee will be charged based on the number of days attended.
The fee for early childhood education and care is billed retroactively. The invoice due date is the end of the month following the billing month. For example, the May early childhood education invoice is sent to families in June and is due at the end of June.
You can also receive the invoice electronically as an e-invoice or via the Kivra digital mail service. You can set up an e-invoice agreement in your online bank once you have received your first invoice.
If a family has received an incorrect invoice or wishes to extend the payment deadline for early childhood education and care invoices by postponing the due date, please contact the Early Childhood Education and Care Customer Payments department.
