Tampere Residents' Evenings
Give feedback on Tampere Residents' Evenings
In spring 2026, four Residents' Evenings were held: in Hervanta, Peltolammi, Nekala and Kaukajärvi. These open residents’ evenings will continue in the autumn.
Would you like to give us feedback or share ideas on how we could make the residents’ events even better? Tell us your ideas!
Tampere Residents' Evenings give residents an opportunity to listen, discuss, meet and network with others, share their experiences and take a stand on current issues in the city. Sometimes the events are also attended by the Chair of the City Council, the Mayor and Deputy Mayors. All Tampere residents and anyone interested in Tampere are welcome to attend.
The Tampere Residents' Evenings take place several times a year in different parts of the city. Their content varies. The events and their themes are announced on the city's website and social media, as well as in the Tampere events calendar.
Meet the Mayor, Deputy Mayors and the Chair of the City Council
A few times a year, the Chair of the City Council, the Mayor and the Deputy Mayors attend the Tampere Residents' Evenings. These events are streamed live on the Tampere channel. A video recording of the events will be available on the Tampere Channel for two weeks afterwards.
During these evenings, you can ask them and other experts present about the city, its development, decision-making and services. Questions can be asked in Finnish and English.
You're all welcome
At Tampere Residents' Evenings, we follow safer space principles. In a safer space, everyone can feel welcome and valued just as they are. Inappropriate behavior is not accepted.
