Tampere The Festival of Light
Tampere The Festival of Light is an annual event in Tampere, during which the city is illuminated with various light decorations and artworks.
Light as part of events and celebrations
Lighting is also used to bring life to the city during major events and on selected theme days and holidays. Together with partners, the city lights up iconic buildings, landmarks, and shopping centers with themed colors.
The lighting is provided through a shared lighting network that includes the city, property owners, and companies. This cooperation ensures that the lighting is consistent, visually attractive, and impactful, while allowing many partners to take part.
