For associations

Association Network (Järjestöedustamo) is a network where the City of Tampere and Tampere-based associations meet to discuss current matters. The associations elect their representatives to the representative body. Their task is to promote the well-being and improve everyday life of Tampere residents. The network is coordinated by Artteli-kumppanuusyhdistys and the City of Tampere.

The Sports Parliament (Seuraparlamentti) is a network between the City of Tampere and Tampere sports associations. The associations elect their representatives to the Parliament. The Parliament discusses various topics such as supporting sports club activities, the need to develop sports facilities, the promotion of sport, sports events, as well as the preparation and decision-making process concerning sports.

All Tampere-based sports clubs, associations and communities are welcome to join the city’s cooperation network with sports organisations. The aim of the network is to provide a foundation for joint discussion and mutual exchange of information on matters related to sports. The network organises club webinars on various topics as well as a club meeting (seurafoorumi). Communication within the network takes place through a Seurakirje newsletter.

The Tampere Cultural Network is aimed at organisations that receive general cultural grants from the City of Tampere. Representatives from the Tampere office of the Arts Promotion Centre Finland are also involved. The network discusses a wide range of topical issues concerning cultural operators, such as networking and cooperation, funding, facilities, communication and cultural policy.

The Advisory Board for the Elderly is a network of organisations for older people.

Tampere has nine Regional Actor Networks (aluetoimijaverkostot), where associations, communities and representatives of the city and the welfare area meet, share information and findings and work together to find solutions to the area's concerns. New actors are warmly welcome to join the networks.
