1918 Finnish Civil War route

Prisoners gathered at Central Square in 1918.

Many of Tampere’s geographical places and buildings have their own history when it comes to the year 1918. With a little imagination, this history can be sensed when walking through the locations of the civil war route.

The distance by foot is about 6.5 km and by bike about 7 km when you move from place 5 (fire station) to place 11 (Vapriikki) and continue in numerical order.
