Tesoma Sports Hall for ball games is open as required by the allocated bookings, mainly on weekday evenings.

The sports hall has full-size baseball, volleyball and badminton courts and floorball and futsal fields. When divided into sections by curtains, the hall can provide three full-length basketball courts with individual scoreboards

Outside, there are 100 parking spaces for cars and 160 for bicycles, of which 40 are under a roof.

The main lobby has 16 bar tables for 90 people, and a café seating 56 people is located at the end of the corridor.

All access routes outside the building are accessible. The building has an elevator. Seating for people with reduced mobility can be found on the upper and lower level

Tesoma Sports Hall

Tesoma Sports Hall is a new ball hall that meets international standards. At Tesoma, you can play, for example, futsal, basketball and floorball on a full-sized court. The auditorium can accommodate 1,000 people, and the premises also have a gym. During the winter season the hall is open only on reserved shifts.

In indoor sports facilities, sessions end half an hour before closing time, and users must leave the premises at least 15 minutes before closing time.
The gym at the Sports Hall is open during the summer season Monday through Friday from 8 am to 2 pm, Saturday from 9 am to 4 pm, and Sunday from 10 am to 5 pm. You can access the gym with a gym membership card or a single-visit ticket purchased from the online store.

The route to the main entrance

The 3 accessible parking spaces are located outdoors over 10 m from the entrance. The width of the parking spaces is at least 3.6 m.
The pick-up and drop-off area is located in the vicinity of the entrance, giving easy access to the pavement.
The route to the entrance is smooth and sufficiently wide and illuminated.

The entrance stands out clearly and is illuminated. There is a canopy above the entrance.
The doors connected to the entrance stand out clearly and the glass doors have contrast markings. Outside the door there is sufficient room for moving e.g. with a wheelchair. The door opens automatically with an opening button.

In the facility

The sports facilities are located on floor 1.
For moving around, there is a lift, which can hold 2 wheelchairs or a stretcher,; the door opens automatically. The floor numbers in the lift can be felt with fingers. (The minimum dimensions for 2 wheelchairs in a lift are width 1.2 m and depth 2.3 m.)
The service point has directions to the different facilities.
The facility has an accessible toilet on the entrance floor.
The customer service/cashier's desk is located on the same floor as the entrance.
The customer service/cashier's desk can be found easily. The desk is accessible to customers standing only.

Dressing room, shower room and sauna

The dressing rooms are located on the same floor as the sports facilities.
The facility does not have an accessible dressing room. The men's/women's dressing rooms must be used instead. The door of the dressing room opens easily manually.
The shower room is connected to the men's/women's dressing room. The door of the shower room opens easily manually.
The shower room has a more spacious and accessible showering spot with a seat as well as a support railing.
The facility does not have a sauna.

Sports facilities

In the multipurpose sports facility, you can engage in sports such as badminton, basket ball, dancing, floorball, rhythmic gymnastics, volleyball.
The sides of the sports facilities/fields feature room for moving aids. The sides of some fields have room for storing aids.
The height of the passageways in the multi-purpose arena is appropriate. There are not enough wall sockets and they are not on a suitable height (0.4–1.1 meters). The multi-purpose arena has a fixed PA system and a wireless microphone. The alarm system (fire alarm) works with a sound signal. The personnel helps with the building of the courts, when present (e.g. temporary tape markings for parasports).

Seating area

The sports facility features a spectators' seating area and the steps have contrast markings. The seats have been highlighted from their surroundings with contrast.
The seating area features 2 accessible spots suitable for a wheelchair, which are located in the back row. The accessible spots provide an unobstructed view of the event. The seating area features separate seats in addition to the fixed ones.
There is sufficient room by the accessible spots for wheelchairs to pass each other.
The lift described above can be used to access the lower section and upper section of the seating area.

Parasports

The multi-purpose arena has facilities for a variety of parasports, such as wheelchair basketball.
Wheelchair basketball: The passageway to the wheelchair basketball space is in places less than a meter wide and it includes an easily opening door and a low threshold. The walls of the basketball space stand out from the floor through luminance contrast. The height of the basketball hoop can be adjusted automatically. There is 2 meters of space around the court and room for storage of a regular wheelchair / powerchair. There is no resting place for guide dogs and assistance dogs near the playing field, but there is tranquil place for them elsewhere in the multi-purpose arena. The sports area can be divided into a smaller area using a dropping curtain.
In addition to wheelchair basketball, the space can be used for boccia, wheelchair dancing, wheelchair badminton, wheelchair rugby, and wheelchair gym activities
