Entry ends and cashier services close 1 hour 15 minutes before closing time, and you must leave the pool area 30 minutes before closing time. Access to the pool area is only via stairs.

  • Women's swimming (age limit 17 years) Mondays from 6.30 pm to 9 pm from 1 September to 8 December (not on 13 October). Admission from 6.30 pm onwards, doors close and ticket sales end at 7 pm. The public swimming session ends at 5 pm on Mondays (admission ends at 3.45 pm).
     
  • The swimming hall gym is reserved for use by exercise groups during the fall season from 2 September to 9 December on Tuesdays from 8.25 am to 10.30 am (except 14 October) and Thursdays from 2.15 pm to 4.20 pm (except 16 October).

There's a lane and equipment for water running. You can also use a virtual water gymnastics screen at the shallow end of lane 6. 

There is no lift for the pool in Hervanta swimming pool.

Gym

There is a gym at Hervanta swimming pool, which can be used for a swimming pool fee. The age limit in Tampere City gyms is 15 years.

History

Hervanta Swimming Pool, which was completed in 1978, is located nearly 30 metres below the ground level. It was renovated in 2019 - 2021. The access control system of the pool was replaced in connection with the renovation, and the wristband opens and closes the lockers with modern smart locks.
