This year, the end of the school year will be celebrated at the Monari Summer Beach Party event at the Youth Culture Centre Monitoimitalo 13 on Saturday, May 30, 2026. It's going to be the hottest party of the spring, featuring live music, disco, karaoke, workshops and much more! Come and end the school year in style and celebrate the start of summer at the Beach Party!
The artist gigs will be streamed to Nuorten Tampere YouTube-channel.
The event is intended for young people over the age of 13. The event is free of charge and alcohol- and drug-free, and we follow the principles of safer space set by the City of Tampere Youth Services.

At the information desk you will find more information about the event and the building in general. You can ask for lost property here. There is also a first aid point.
Cloakroom

Supervised and free of charge. Please leave your coats and large backpacks/bags in the cloakroom as soon as you arrive at the event.
Food, drink & gift bags
The first 100 participants at the event will receive a free, unique gift bag containing a can of soda, a small snack, and other summer-themed items.

Get up on the Stage to sing your favourite song alone or with a friend to celebrate the end of the school year! A wide selection of songs will be available, which you can check out in advance on the Singa website. If you don't want to sing yourself, you're welcome to listen to other people's performances.
UV-disco
Stage, 21.00-23.00
The end-of-school party culminates in an energetic UV disco, where the Stage turns into a glowing light show you really want to experience at the end-of-school party! DJ Ozan and Dj Deli are responsible for the music at the disco, combining the best music genres with the most danceable party hits, with experience and a fresh take on trends. DJ Ozan is a growing DJ name in Finland, who knows how to handle the dance floor in every situation and also has his own remixes of hit songs from abroad as well as from Finland. Note! Before the disco, you can paint yourself a UV face paint in the workshop on the craft floor.

Badges workshop

In this workshop you will get to design and create your very own badge. You can draw exactly what inspires you - a character, a text or even your own symbol. A wide range of drawing tools and colourful paint pens will be available to help you bring your ideas to life.
Bracelet and ribbon workshop
Ateljee, 16.00-21.00
Celebrate summer by creating your own accessories! Make a bracelet or a floral bracelet for a beach party or a summer day. You'll use deliciously coloured beads, flowers and shells - feel free to mix and match to create a piece that's just your style. Finally, you'll take the finished piece home with you.
Beach Party community artwork

Create a maritime atmosphere together! Come and add your own touch to the mosaic-like seascape of the Seinägalleria. The artwork will be on display until June.
Make-up point

Get ready for the evening disco with glittering make-up! At the make-up counter you'll find great UV colours and glitters to create a stunning party look.
4th floor
Arcade hall

The Arcade is home to the games you've always wanted to play. Now's your chance! You can try out and play Ghostbuster pinball, Pac Man, Mortal Combat, speed games, and a wide range of computer and console games. Pelifarmi and Ikuri Arcade will be present in the arcade.

At the Youth Services dedicated point, you can find out about the services and activities offered by Youth Services. At the desk, you can talk to a youth counsellor and you can also find the event's harrasment contact person.
"Class of 2026" photo wall
4th floor lobby, 16.00-23.00
In honour of the school leavers, immortalise yourself and your group of friends with the Class of 2026 photo wall. There will be a paper photo shoot for the first 100 people, then feel free to take photos on the photo wall with your own phone. You can also ask a youth worker to take a photo of your group!

Seba x Aarni

SEBA and Aarni are young rap artists from Tampere who both guarantee an energetic live performance. SEBA's technical and well thought out verses will not leave listeners bored. Aarn's melodic "earworm" choruses are very catchy. The artists promise to bring a diverse show to the event, with DJ ILMARI adding to the impact.
Kupari, King Yare, Havia

Kupari, King Yare and Havia are an experience, not just music. The show is created to entertain everyone celebrating the end of school. The artistic trio brings fun, courage, creativity and, of course, themselves to the stage. This ensemble is to be seen, not just heard.
Riski, Varomato, Hazard

A trio of three Finnish rap champions - Hazard (2018), Riski (2024) and Varomato (2022) - bring Finland's sharpest and funniest freestyle rap to the stage. Together, they represent the absolute top of Finnish freestyle. More than 30 years of combined experience is reflected in their fast improvisation, strong audience connection and boundary-breaking performance. The show combines audience themes and chorus banter into an energetic package that takes freestyle to a new level.
Habson, BADU + surprise performer

High school graduates - and one night stands out from the rest. Habson & BADU on stage, a full show from start to finish. A great atmosphere, crazy energy and a surprise act you won't want to miss. If you're going to end the school year right, you know where you belong!
After Beach Party

End the school year this year with explosive energy as After Beach Party lines and a spectacular light show take over Monari's closing night. DJ Kehveli, renowned for his Finnish party scene, will kick things up a notch as the night progresses, playing some of electronic music's hottest hits and best remixes. Note! After party includes fast moving and flashing lights.

Do you want to calm down amidst the end-of-term frenzy? Welcome to the Quiet Space, where you'll also find something quiet to do with your hands. But here you can also just be in peace and quiet.

Stone painting workshop and soap bubbles
Lower courtyard, 16-21 (Note! In case of rain, 5th floor Kädentaitopaja)
Come unleash your inner artist in the backyard by painting stones, enjoying the atmosphere and blowing soap bubbles. You can take the stones out to delight people or leave them in the backyard to admire as decorations. There will also be a lucky duck for rock painters to win a small prize!
Mobile youth center Liikkis & blaze pods
In front of Tammer Park, 16-21
Liikkis is a mobile youth space that you can invite to wherever you are. You can meet Liikkis and its instructors in school playgrounds, in the parking lots of shops and shopping centres, in parks and on the street. Come and discover the movement and try out the Blaze pod game in your yard, and say hello to the movement motivators at the same time!
Mobile library Kosmos
In front of Tammer Park, 16-21
In keeping with its space theme, the Kosmos library car, named after the space theme will land next to Youth Culture Centre, and is worth a visit to admire both inside and out. You can also borrow some reading material from the library for your summer holidays!
