Temporary Advertisements and Signs

When placing signs or advertisements, the following must be considered:

• They must not interfere with traffic or act as visual or physical obstacles.
• They must not be placed on traffic signs or in intersections.
• The maximum size for each sign is 1.5 m².
• A single permit allows for up to 40 signs.
• Signs may be displayed for 2–3 days.
• Temporary advertisements may be displayed for up to 3 weeks and must be removed immediately after the permit period ends.
• Signs and advertisements may not be placed along Hämeenkatu.
• Signs must remain clean and intact during their display period.
• Their appearance must not resemble traffic signs in color or shape.
• Attachments must be safe and weatherproof and must not damage surfaces.
• Direct product advertising is not allowed. 

Fees for Temporary Advertisements and Signs 

Temporary sings and advertisements can be placed for a maximum of two weeks. Signs and advertisements are not allowed in the city centre. For temporary signs and advertisements outside the city center, up to 1 m² in size, the prices are as follows:

• 1-29 signs/advertisement for one week: 4 € + VAT/pcs
• 30 or more signs/advertisements for one week: 3,5 €  + VAT/pcs
• If the advertising time lasts for two weeks, the price per sign/advertisement is 3,5€ + VAT

Note: For signs attached to buildings, permits are issued by Building Control. More information is available on their website. 

Advertising Banners 

Advertising banners may be installed at predefined locations to promote events, fairs, and campaigns. Election advertising and direct product advertising are prohibited at these locations. The maximum display time is 2 weeks.

Locations Where Tampereen Vera Oy Handles Installation and Removal

Installation is ordered from Vera, and Vera invoices according to a separate price list:

• Satamakatu / Hämeenpuisto

Fees

• Advertising banner: €100 / week + VAT
• Maximum display time: 2 weeks
