Prevention of bullying

The school plays a key role in preventing bullying. The Basic Education Act guarantees the right to a safe studying environment to all those who participate in instruction. Safety means both physical and social security – to be able to go to school without fear. The law stipulates schools must draw up and maintain a school-specific plan to prevent bullying, violence, and harassment. In addition, schools also take the following measures to prevent bullying:

Each school has a multiprofessional body of know-how to help identify social situations and emotions and promote the learning of new skills.

Each school has a procedure for intervening in bullying. The model is known to pupils, guardians, and all adult employees in the school.
