Disc golf courses

There are currently five disc golf courses in the parks of Tampere. The disc golf courses in Tampere are freely available to everyone, and no booking is needed. The courses in Tampere have no lighting but you can use discs with LED lights for playing in the dark. All courses have information signs and signposts for the individual fairways.

Vihioja and Hervanta disc golf courses are maintained by Tampereen Frisbeeseura association and the City. The course in Epilä is maintained by Pirkanmaan Frisbeegolf association.

About playing disc golf

Disc golf can be played round the year. It is suitable for people of all ages, and you can start with just one frisbee. You usually go around the course in groups of two to four people, but you can also do it alone or with a larger group. You aim to throw your frisbee into each basket of the course, using as few throws as possible to get around the course.

You should take other park users and players into consideration. Check that there are no people on the fairway that your frisbee could hit. Make sure that the previous group of players has reached the end of the fairway before you start on it. Keep the park clean. Do not damage trees and shrubs.
