The spring term courses at The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region have been published. Online registration for the spring term begins on Thursday, 4 December 2025 at 12 pm. The Centre will provide support for online registration at the beginning of December in Tampere and Ylöjärvi. Registration by phone and in person at the offices starts on Monday, 15 December 2025.

During the spring term, the Centre offers more than 860 courses in information subjects, handicrafts, arts, languages, and health promotion. Online registration for spring term courses begins on the registration website on Thursday, 4 December 2025 at 12 pm.

The printed course brochure will be delivered to homes in Tampere and Ylöjärvi starting Tuesday, 25 November 2025. In addition, the brochure can be picked up from libraries, Sampola, and Ylöjärvi City Hall. The brochure includes information about subject areas, but detailed content and any schedule exceptions can be found on the registration website.

The Centre will organize online registration support points at Sampola in the computer classroom on Thursday, 4 December 2025 from 1 pm to 3 pm, Monday, 8 December 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm, and Thursday, 11 December 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm. In Ylöjärvi, support for registration will be available on Tuesday, 9 December 2025 from 10 am to 12 pm at Library Leija.

Registration by phone and in person at the offices in Sampola and Ylöjärvi begins on Monday, 15 December 2025 at 12 pm. However, the Centre recommends online registration.

If a student has registered in the autumn term for a full-year course and does not discontinue the course, there is no need to register again for the spring term. The spring course fee can be paid starting 4 December 2025 by logging into the “My Registrations” section on the registration website. The course fee can be paid online until the course start date. If the payment is not made online, a paper invoice will be sent to the student’s home.

The Centre reminds students that any benefits and discounts must be applied for before paying the course fee. Discounts cannot be granted retroactively.

Spring term courses start in the second week of January, but courses of varying lengths will begin throughout the term until early June. During the spring, the Centre will organize more than 850 courses in languages, handicrafts, arts, health promotion, and information subjects. In addition, more than 20 free public lectures will be offered, some of which can be followed live on the Centre’s YouTube channel.
