Celia audiobooks
If you are unable to read a normal book because of a visual impairment, dyslexia or other disability, you can listen to digital audiobooks from the Celia library through libraries.
Accessibility Library Celia is a special state library that supports equality in reading and learning. Anyone who finds it difficult to read an ordinary book because of a reading disability, illness, injury or other reason can become a customer.
Celia has tens of thousands of audio books for children and adults. Celia also produces and distributes Braille books and other specialised books and learning materials.
Audiobooks can be listened to on a computer, tablet or smartphone. The downloadable, free Pratsam listening app is an easy way to enter the world of books.
If you want to become a listener of Celia's audiobooks, please contact the library. The library will provide you with access codes and advice on how to use the online service and the audiobooks. You don't need a doctor's certificate to prove that you have difficulty reading.
Tampere City Library also has a collection of audio books that all customers can borrow. The audiobooks are available on CD and as e-books. You can check out the library's selection of audio books on the online library piki.fi.
