Tampere Residents’ Evening with the city leaders
Mayor Ilmari Nurminen invites residents to a Tampere residents' evening at the main library, Metso, on 16 December. Come and hear about current issues in the city and have the opportunity to discuss them with Mayor, Deputy Mayors and the Chair of the City Council. The event can also be followed online. The event will be held in Finnish, but questions may also be asked in English.

Recipient of the International Gender Equality Prize 2025 is Masha Foundation – recognition for Ukrainian women in the midst of war
| News itemThe International Gender Equality Prize 2025 has been awarded to the Ukrainian Masha Foundation, which does significant work to support women in Ukraine suffering from the psychological consequences of war and violence. The prize amounts to €300 000 and it was presented by Prime Minister Petteri Orpo to the organization’s founders, Mariia Yefrosinina and Oksana Nechyporenko. -
