Music rooms

You can reserve the music room in the main library Metso, Lielahti or Hervanta. Koilliskeskus also has a music space. You can see the reservation instructions below for each library. 

Using the music room is free. 

Main library Metso

The music section in the main library's upper floor has three music rooms. The facilities are equipped with: 

Music Room 1: an acoustic piano, multi-channel listening devices for listening to CDs and watching DVDs and Blu-Ray discs. The possibility to connect your own device with a miniplug. 

Music Room 2: Listen to CDs. The possibility to connect your own device with a miniplug. 

Rockway room: All Rockway content and recording software are available. Electric drums, electric guitar, electric bass, acoustic guitar and ukulele are available to customers. The Rockway room is intended for the use, practising and learning related to courses and content provided by music courses. As a rule, the space is intended for learning to play an instrument independently. 

The music section also has a digital piano that does not need to be reserved. Music rooms and Rockway room can be reserved through the reservation system. You can book rooms for one hour per day. The reservation will expire if you do not arrive within 10 minutes of the start of the reservation.

Hervanta Library

The Hervanta library has a piano room and a multi-purpose room. In the multi-purpose room, you can play your own instruments and sing. 

You can reserve the piano room or multi-purpose room by phone or in the reservation system. You can book rooms for one hour per day. The reservation will expire if you do not arrive within 10 minutes of the start of the reservation. 

Koilliskeskus

In the Koilliskeskus music room, you can play digital piano, electric drums, guitar and your own instruments or sing.  

You can reserve the music room in the reservation system. You can book rooms for one hour per day. The reservation will expire if you do not arrive within 10 minutes of the start of the reservation. 

Lielahti Library

In the Lielahti Library music room, you can play digital piano or electric guitar. There are also the karaoke equipment and multi-channel listening devices for listening to CDs and watching DVDs and Blu-Ray discs.

You can reserve the piano room or multi-purpose room by phone or in the reservation system. You can book rooms for two hours per day. The reservation will expire if you do not arrive within 10 minutes of the start of the reservation.
