Welcome to Tampere City Hall!
The City Hall is located right in the heart of the city, on the edge of the Central Square at Aleksis Kiven katu 14–16. The City Hall's customer service is there for you and will help you with any issues related to using Tampere City services.
The City Hall customer service offers several services in one place and is located in the City Hall customer service area (entrance B).
The City Hall information point is located at the main entrance (entrance C), and guides visitors to the building and directs you to the right service or facility.

Registry office of the City of Tampere
The registry office receives and registers all cases and documents leading to administrative decisions and provides information on pending cases. You can read the city´s official announcements and notices on the city´s electronic notice board (in Finnish).

Cash services
You can pay city bills, such as resident and guest parking permits, boat mooring fees, or bills for daycare and afternoon club activities, at the cash desk of the City of Tampere. The cash desk is open on weekdays from 9:00 to 15:00 (closed from 12:30 to 13:00).

Nysse customer service
Nysse customer service will assist you when you need help using public transport services in the Tampere region. Nysse provides public transport services in Tampere, Kangasala, Lempäälä, Nokia, Orivesi, Pirkkala, Vesilahti, and Ylöjärvi. From customer service, you can buy tickets and get guidance on using buses and trams in the Nysse area.

Housing consultation
The Housing consultation of the City of Tampere offers general housing-related advice and guidance to the residents of Tampere. The aim of the work is to prevent and solve housing problems. The Housing consultation service of the City of Tampere is free of charge. You can request help regardless of your form of housing.

Preliminary negotiations of building control
Construction projects are reviewed in cooperation between the designer and the permit processor in so-called preliminary negotiations, which are held before the permit application is submitted. Preliminary negotiations ensure that the permit process is smooth and that both parties can carry out their tasks in a timely manner.
You can reserve a time for a preliminary negotiation when a permit application for the project has been prepared at the the Lupapiste.fi service, the application has been set to 'Visible to the authority' status, and the building inspectorate has appointed a person to handle the application.
