What is the International Voucher?

The international Voucher is a financial support offered by the City of Tampere to employers in Tampere to help cover the costs of hiring an international higher education trainee. The voucher helps international degree students at the Tampere university and University of Applied Sciences (TAMK) find their first internship opportunities in companies based in Tampere. A total of 10 International Vouchers are available, each worth 3,000 euros.

International Student: Use the International Voucher in Your Internship Search

Are you a full-time degree student in an English-language degree programme at Tampere University or Tampere University of Applied Sciences, and have you moved to Tampere from abroad to complete your degree? Are you looking for an internship in Tampere that is related to your studies?

The International Voucher encourages employers to hire international higher education students for internships, as the support can cover part of the internship salary costs.

The opportunity to use the International Voucher may be valuable information for an employer when considering recruiting and hiring you.
