Registration for autumn 2026 courses begins online on Saturday, 1 August 2026 at 12:00 noon. The courses are already published on the website, allowing customers to explore the selection and course details well in advance.

As in previous years, the programme includes courses lasting the full academic year as well as one-term courses. In addition, there are short courses ranging from one day or a weekend to a few sessions. A total of 25 public lectures will be organised during the autumn, with the lecture season starting in September as usual.

Printed course brochure discontinued

The Adult Education Centre will no longer distribute a printed course brochure to households. Instead, all information is available on the course website, where it is always up to date. A general information leaflet covering the academic year will be distributed to homes, including key dates and an overview of the offer.

From the end of July onwards, course information can also be browsed at distribution points such as libraries in Tampere and Ylöjärvi. However, these printed copies are not updated, so all information should be checked online. A PDF version of the browseable listing is also available on the Centre’s website in Finnish.
