The Adult Education Centre of the Tampere Region offers over 2000 courses annually in the Tampere and Ylöjärvi areas, as well as online. Everyone is welcome to join the courses, regardless of their place of residence.

The courses are divided into five different subject areas: knowledge, health promotion, handicrafts, art, and languages. In addition to courses, the Adult Education Centre organizes free public lectures and various events.

There are hobby opportunities available for all ages, from infants, children, and youth to adults and seniors. The duration of the courses varies from one-day meetings to courses that last the entire academic year.
