Love It! exhibition celebrates the 20th anniversary of the Art Arc cultural education program

The 20th-anniversary exhibition of Tampere’s cultural education program Art Arc (Taidekaari), highlights children’s perspectives on art. “Cute, especially that ball—I love this. It looks like childhood,” says 10-year-old Hilla, describing the piece she chose for the exhibition. Love it! art exhibition opens at Children’s Cultural Centre Rulla on Saturday 28 March 2026, at 11 am.

The theme of the art exhibition is celebration, and the curators were the students of classes 4A and 4B from Peltolammi School. The children selected the works from nominations submitted by members of the Tampere Artists’ Association in the fall of 2025. The curation took place in a workshop-style format, and the classes also got to create art themselves. The children’s artworks will be on display as part of the Love It! exhibition alongside works by ten professional artists. Throughout the spring, visitors in Rulla will have the opportunity to meet the professional artists featured in the exhibition and participate in art workshops.

Art Arc is a cultural education programme, which introduces about 25 000 children and young people annually to art and cultural destinations as observers, experiencers, and always also creators. Arc Arc begins at 3-4-year old in the early childhood education and continues through 9th grade.

The exhibition is suitable for all ages.
