Higher education students can get vaccinated at pop-up stations at the Tampere University and TAMK

Higher education students studying in Tampere can get vaccinated at pop-up stations at the Tampere University and Tampere University of Applied Sciences.

All higher education students studying at the Tampere University or University of Applied Sciences may come for a vaccination at the pop-up stations, regardless of their municipality of residence. International higher education students can also get vaccinated at these stations.

No advance appointment is needed. You can get vaccinated by simply queuing up.

Both first vaccinations and booster shots are administered at the pop-up stations. You are eligible to receive a booster shot only if at least six weeks have passed since your first vaccination.

Pop-up stations for higher education students:

– Tuesday, 7 September, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: TAMK Main Campus (Kuntokatu 3, Teiskontie 33)
Wednesday, 8 September, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Tampere University, Hervanta campus, Festia (Korkeakoulunkatu 8)
Thursday, 9 September, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Tampere University , City centre campus, Main building (Kalevantie 4)
Tuesday, 14 September, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Tampere University, City centre campus, Main building (Kalevantie 4)
Wednesday, 15 September, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: TAMK Main Campus (Kuntokatu 3, Teiskontie 33)
Thursday, 16 September, 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Tampere University, Hervanta campus, Festia (Korkeakoulunkatu 8)

Instructions for those arriving to be vaccinated:
Only arrive for vaccination if you are healthy.
Wear a face mask and use hand sanitiser when you arrive at the vaccination location and also when leaving the premises.
Maintain a safe distance to others while queueing.
Bring your student card and Kela card, driver’s licence, passport or ID card with you for identification.
Wear clothing with sleeves that are easy to roll up.
After receiving the vaccination, stay at the premises for 15 minutes.

There will be more pop-up stations at the University of Tampere and TAMK in October, where those who received their first vaccination here can also receive their booster shot.

Students who are studying in Tampere have the possibility to receive a COVID 19 vaccine at Ratina’s vaccination unit (Ratinan rantatie 1), regardless of their municipality of residence. At Ratina, vaccinations will be offered both with and without appointments. Additional information: tampere.fi/covid19vaccinations .

The City of Tampere is also planning pop-up stations for students studying at the Tampere Vocational College Tredu. More on these will be revealed at a later date.
