The City of Tampere Employment and Growth Services serves job seekers at several locations in the city centre. Changes will be made to the service point network towards the end of the year.
The Employment and Growth Services service point at Pellavatehtaankatu 25 will close permanently as of 16 November 2026.
Customers who have previously attended appointments at the Pellavatehtaankatu service point will in the future be directed to other service points. Job seekers should always check the meeting location and address in the invitation they receive before attending their appointment.
A new advice point for job seekers visiting without an appointment will open at Tullintori shopping centre on 11 November 2026. The advice point is located at Tullikatu 6, 2nd floor, and is open on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Customers are served on a first-come, first-served basis.
Many matters handled at the advice point can also be resolved over the phone. Job seekers are therefore encouraged to contact the telephone service first at 040 801 6581 (weekdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
International House Tampere provides walk-in services for international customers at Rautatienkatu 10, 1st floor, on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tampere Ohjaamo provides walk-in services for young people under the age of 30 on weekdays from 12 noon to 4 p.m. Ohjaamo is located at Hammareninkatu 5 B, 1st floor.
A new Employment and Growth Services service point will open at Kanslerinrinne 1 on 1 December 2026. The service point will be located on the 3rd and 4th floors of the Pinni A building. The entrance is on the Kanslerinrinne side of the building.
The Pinni A service point will complement the existing network of service points and will not replace the Pellavatehtaankatu service point that is closing.
