Tell us briefly about your journey to Tampere and how you ended up here?

In 2019 , I applied for a Masters program at Tampere University , luckily I was offered a scholarship that covered the tuition for the program so I relocated to Tampere to further my studies .

What do you love most about living in Tampere?

Tampere is a vibrant city with many attractions to love. It boasts beautiful lakes, a rich cultural scene with museums and theaters, a mix of historical and modern architecture, a strong tradition of saunas, and a wide range of festivals. Additionally, Tampere has a lively jazz scene, notably featuring the Tampere Jazz Happening, which is a significant part of its cultural vibrancy and i do love attending those programs. 

Why would you encourage international talents to move to Tampere?

The city offers a high quality of life, and a thriving technology and innovation ecosystem to support start-ups. Additionally, the city's commitment to sustainability, efficient public transportation, international schools, and diverse culinary options further enhance its appeal. 

What is your favorite place, and your favorite thing to do in Tampere?

I love taking walks at the different parks in the city during my leisure time and visiting shopping malls . I also enjoy walking on the frozen lakes during winter. 

How would you describe Tampere as a city, what makes it special?

I believe Tampere is a city that offers a unique blend of opportunites especially a thriving international community which would always make you feel welcome though you are far from home .
