The Hervanta Library is located next to the busy DUO shopping centre. The library and Tietotori IT Centre operate on the second floor of the building designed by Raili and Reima Pietilä with a bubbling fountain in centre stage.

Hervanta Library has a versatile and multilingual collection. What’s special about the library is the Hervanta collection.

You can come and read in the quiet reading room or book a piano room or exhibition space. And come check out the library's numerous cultural and children’s events!

The service kiosk of the well-being centre Hervanta Trio is also located in the library. The well-being centre operates in the Hervanta area in a networked manner.

Digital guidance at the Tietotori IT Centre

At the Hervanta Library, you can use the Tietotori IT Centre where you have access to computers and other devices, such as printers, scanners and digitisers. You can reserve computers beforehand through the reservation system, by phone or at the library through staff. You can also book a personal guidance lesson for thirty minutes or one hour. The lesson teaches you how to better use your device or helps you solve problems that you have with using your computer.

The IT Centres organise beginner courses on the basics of using computers and the Internet. People with intermediate computer skills can also take theme courses and gets tips on how to better use digital devices. Groups can also reserve the Tietotori IT Centre at the Hervanta Library for their use.
