Children's Cultural Centre Rulla opens after its summer break on Wednesday, 19 August

Contrary to previous information Rulla will open on Wednesday 19 August 2026 at 12 noon. The opening was originally scheduled to open on Saturday 8 August, but the renovation work carried out over the summer has been delayed. On the new opening day, we’ll celebrate the opening of the HIDDEN exhibition, and the program will also feature a music workshop by the Tampere Conservatory.

HIDDEN (PIILOSSA) is an interactive exhibition designed especially for babies and toddlers, providing a space for play, exploration and imagination. Children can embark on adventures and discover the exhibition together with their accompanying adult. Inspired by the excitement of hiding and the joy of seeking and finding, the exhibition invites families to experience its playful world together. The exhibition is produced by the Children’s and Young People’s Art Centre of Kulttuuritalo Villa Arttu.

To celebrate the upcoming Finnish Nature Day on 29 August, Rulla's art workshop will feature traditional Finnish nature-inspired crafts, including pine-cone cows and string sticks. During the opening day, families will also have the opportunity to join Tampere Conservatoire’s joyful music play session, with singing, movement and music-making for young children and their adults.

Free entry, welcome!
