The Advisory service for new entrepreneurs is a new service of the Tampere Region Employment Area for people considering entrepreneurship and for new entrepreneurs. The service, launching in early April 2026, combines 24/7 digital guidance with personal expert support.
The deployment of the service has been prepared in cooperation with Ensimetri and Veracell, which is responsible for the technical implementation. The planning process has also involved a broad network of business actors as well as customers who have tested the service.
– There are many potential entrepreneurs in the Tampere Region Employment Area. The new digital service allows people planning entrepreneurship to develop their ideas at their own pace and better prepare for meetings with business expert. Our goal is to make the early stages of entrepreneurship as clear and seamless as possible. Digital guidance and personal support from Ensimetri’s experts together provide a comprehensive service, so aspiring entrepreneurs do not have to proceed alone. The service will be continuously improved, and users are encouraged to provide feedback through the platform, says Elina Wallin, Service Director at the City of Tampere’s Employment and Growth Services.
The Advisory service for new entrepreneurs is intended for all residents of the Tampere Region Employment Area who are interested in entrepreneurship – even if they are only at the idea stage. Using the service does not require an existing business or a fully developed business idea. The service helps users develop their business ideas, plan their business activities and prepare for starting a company.
In the service, users create a personal user account, which is verified through Suomi.fi identification. This ensures that the user resides in a municipality within the Tampere Region Employment Area.

The Advisory service for new entrepreneurs is built on an up-to-date knowledge base maintained by experts. This enables users to access reliable, clear and practical information whenever they need it.
The service is accessible at all times. It also serves international customers, as support is available through AI in all major languages.
Customers can create their business plan and financial calculations either independently or with the support of AI. Digital guidance helps users prepare more effectively for meetings with an expert and move their planning forward.
Alongside digital guidance, customers can also continue to receive personal expert support. Through the service, customers can submit their completed plan for review by an Ensimetri expert and book an appointment for a meeting. In addition, experts provide guidance by phone on two days per week.
