Exceptional opening hours in libraries on 31 Oct and 1 Nov, 2025
The staff training day on Friday 31 October 2025, and All Saint's Day on Saturday 1 November 2025 will affect the opening hours of the libraries.
On Friday 31 October most of the branches of Tampere City Library will be closed for a staff training day and mobile libraries will not be running. Only the main library Metso will be open from 9 am to 5 pm.
On All Saint's Day, 1 November, the libraries will be closed except for the self-service libraries, also the mobile libraries will be not running.
You can use the self-service libraries as usual during self-service opening hours on 31 Oct and 1 Nov. You can also use the PIKI online library for many library services.
When libraries are closed, material left in the return boxes will be returned on the next day the library is open, when staff are present.
