Work site moves close to Hämeenpuisto junction area

In the block area between Näsilinnankatu and Hämeenpuisto, work has moved very close to the Hämeenpuisto intersection. Those travelling in the intersection area should exercise special caution due to the traffic in Hämeenpuisto and the possible obstruction of vision caused by the works.

Surface works in Hämeenpuisto have also started. At the Näsilinnankatu intersection, surface works will start, if possible, at the end of week 31.

Rock outcrops in the block area between Kuninkaankatu and Näsilinnankatu have slowed down the work. On the northern side of the Kuninkaankatu and Puutarhakatu intersection, work is progressing and the underground structures will be mostly installed during week 31. 

The installation of the district cooling pipes will cause slight changes to the traffic arrangements on site. In practice, the positions of the fences will change slightly, but access to the area will be as usual.

In the area between Kuninkaankatu and Aleksis Kivi street, the excavations have been filled in and the site fences reduced, which has led to clearer traffic arrangements.
