The Whole City's Clean-up will be coming again - register your team by 16.4.

A team can be made up of friends, family, friends at school or work, or members of a residents' association. Everyone is welcome to join in, and registration is open until 16 April. It is up to the volunteer group to determine the area to be cleaned.

Only rubbish thrown by people in public areas of the city will be collected. These can be, for example, a cycle path in your neighbourhood, a green area, a roadside, a nearby forest or another public area of the city. Pirkanmaan Jätehuolto will deliver waste bins and refuse sacks to the indicated locations on the day of the event. If you wish, you can bring a small rubbish bag from home.

The volunteer team can also take part in the Amazing Race of Caring

This year, for the first time, the whole The Whole City's Clean-up will be taking part in the Amazing Race of Caring by being one of the competition venues in Tampere. The he Amazing Race of Caring will promote social integrity, social well-being and community spirit and create a local and national culture of caring. If your volunteer team wants to be part of the Amazing Race of Caring, please let us know in the More information -section, when you register.

Towards the end of April, the meeting places for the volunteer groups that have signed up will be updated on the map on the volunteer page. So you can join the clean-up on the same day by joining a registered clean-up team.

The Whole City's Clean-up is organised by Tampereen Infra Oy together with the City of Tampere, Pirkanmaan Jätehuolto and Ekokumppanit.
