Aktiivipassi – Activity Pass

You can receive the Activity Pass if you meet the following criteria:

• you are an adult
• you have a low income
• you live in Tampere
• you are a client of, or actively involved in, one of the following services:
  • Social Services of the Wellbeing Services County of Pirkanmaa
  • Youth Services of the City of Tampere
  • International House Tampere
  • Housing Consultation of the City of Tampere
  • Ohjaamo
  • Setlementti Tampere ry
  • Mielen ry
  • Tampereen A‑kilta ry
  • Nauha ry

You cannot apply for the Activity Pass yourself. It can be offered to people who are clients of various services or who are otherwise involved in their activities.

In 2026, the following services and organisations are participating:

• Social Services of the Wellbeing Services County of Pirkanmaa
• Youth Services of the City of Tampere
• International House Tampere
• Housing Consultation of the City of Tampere
• Ohjaamo
• Setlementti Tampere ry
• Mielen ry
• Tampereen A‑kilta ry
• Nauha ry

If you are involved in any of these services, you can ask them for more information about the Activity Pass.

The Wellbeing Services County of Pirkanmaa will notify you of the granting of the Activity Pass either through the electronic service or by post. After this, you can load the Activity Pass onto your personal Tampere Regional Transport travel card.

The Activity Pass must be loaded during 2026, no later than 30 November 2026.

You need a travel card

If you do not yet have a travel card, you can obtain one from Nysse Customer Service (Frenckellinaukio 2 B) or via the Nella Online Loading Service. You can also load the Activity Pass onto your travel card in these services.

Please note that the Activity Pass cannot be loaded onto your travel card using the Nella mobile app.

Be prepared to prove your identity when obtaining a travel card. In the online loading service, you verify your identity by logging in with online banking indentification codes or a mobile certificate.

Loading the Activity Pass in the Nella Online Loading Service

In the Nella Online Loading Service, you can load the Activity Pass under the Purchase function on the Benefit Tickets tab. The service will ask you to authenticate using either online banking indentification codes or a mobile certificate.

You can load the Activity Pass onto your travel card either in one instalment (€90) or in two instalments (€45 each). The maximum balance on a travel card is €120. Therefore, if you wish to load the full Activity Pass at once, your travel card may contain no more than €30 at the time of loading.

You can also use the Activity Pass to purchase a 30-day season ticket. If the value of the Activity Pass covers only part of the season ticket price, you must pay the remaining amount. You can pay the remainder using online banking identification codes, MobilePay or a payment card as an online purchase.

The loaded value will be available within two hours. It will be automatically transferred to your travel card when you use the card on a bus, tram or local train. Remember to use your travel card within two weeks of loading. If the loading period has expired, you can still collect your purchases from customer service within two months.

With the Activity Pass, you can:

• travel on Tampere Regional Transport
• visit museums by informing the cashier that you are an Activity Pass holder. The Activity Pass provides free admission to the Museum Centre Vapriikki, Tampere Art Museum, Moomin Museum and the Sara Hildén Art Museum
