How to become a customer of the International House Tampere Employment services
Our clients include all international residents of Tampere. Additionally, we serve job seekers in their integration period as well as working-age clients outside the labor force in the Tampere region employment area.
You can become a customer, if you need to refine your skillset in order to get a job or if you need help in developing your readiness for worklife or studying.
An Employment Service Specialist is addressed to each customer. The Employment Service Specialist evaluates the customer's need for different services and supports them during the customership.
Registering as a job seeker

Citizens of the EU/EEA region can register as job seeker on the Job Market Finland website.

Tampere Region Employment Area
The City of Tampere organizes and provides the statutory tasks of the employment authority within the Tampere Region Employment Area. As of January 1, 2025, public employment and economic development services were transferred to the employment areas.
The Tampere Region Employment Area consists of 16 municipalities: Akaa, Juupajoki, Kangasala, Kuhmoinen, Lempäälä, Nokia, Orivesi, Pirkkala, Pälkäne, Ruovesi, Tampere, Urjala, Valkeakoski, Vesilahti, Virrat, and Ylöjärvi. The municipalities of Western Pirkanmaa belong to the Western Pirkanmaa Employment Area, and Mänttä-Vilppula is part of the Southern Central Finland Employment Area.
