Koivistonkylä Early Childhood Education and Care Centre will move to temporary premises from 3 August 2026
The temporary facility is located in Hatanpää at Gauffininkatu 8, 33900 Tampere.
The temporary facilities are estimated to be used until August 2028.
The new Koivistonkylä Early Childhood and Care Centre will be built on the site of the old ECEC centre at Lehvänkatu 2, and the aim is to open it in August 2028.

We are located in an exceptionally beautiful area near the Arboretum, Hatanpää Manor, and the stunning landscapes of Lake Pyhäjärvi. Nature is an integral part of our daily lives and offers children endless opportunities for wonder, exploration, and new experiences throughout all seasons.
We are housed in the historic Hatanpää Jukola barn, which has been renovated into a cozy and functional Early Childhood Education and Care Centre with modern amenities, while respecting the building’s heritage. The building’s unique history and the surrounding cultural landscape create a special environment for early childhood education. The Early Childhood Education and Care Centre’s versatile playground and the abundant opportunities for outdoor activities and excursions in the surrounding area support the children’s well-being, inclusion, and learning. Currently, the Early Childhood Education and Care Centre operates three groups in the Lampipuisto home area.
