Kalkku Early Childhood Education and Care Centre is a small unit where every child is seen as an individual within the community. Interaction skills and sensitive encounters are at the heart of our activities. In a familiar and safe environment, children have the opportunity to engage in inspiring and stimulating activities. The daycare is surrounded by excellent outdoor areas, and outdoor pedagogy is a regular part of our weekly routine.

Kalkku Early Childhood Education and Care Centre has three early childhood education groups:

  • Tiuhdit for children aged 0–3 years
  • Viuhdit and Tuutikit for children aged 3–6 years
