Help build a caring Tampere! Find your own way to get involved at the Volunteer Fair

Would you like to find a new way to get involved, help others, or be part of a community? The Tampere for All Volunteer Fair brings Tampere residents together at Tullikamari on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. to explore volunteer opportunities, meet organizations, and find their own way to get involved. The free event is organized by the Tampere for All development program and Tampere Volunteer Network TARVE ry.

At the fair, you can learn about a wide range of organizations and communities, talk with their representatives, and find a way to volunteer that suits you. Nearly 60 exhibitors will showcase opportunities to take part in community activities, organize events, provide peer support, and help others in many ways.

Volunteering creates new connections, strengthens communities, and offers opportunities to make a difference based on your own interests and circumstances. At the same time, it helps build a caring and inclusive city where everyone has the opportunity to take part.

The idea at the heart of the fair is simple: everyone can find a way to get involved and do good that works for them. There are opportunities to suit different life situations, interests, and schedules. People of all ages can volunteer regularly or occasionally.

Explore the opportunities and hear about other people’s experiences with volunteering

In the exhibition area at Tullikamari’s Pakkahuone, visitors can meet the exhibitors, ask questions about volunteering, and discover new ways to get involved.

The program at Tullikamari's Klubi features talks, discussions, and personal experiences of volunteering. The event program on Klubi stage will be conducted mainly in Finnish.

Highlights include a panel discussion featuring experiences from volunteers. The day’s keynote address will be delivered in Finnish by Frank Martela, Associate Professor at Aalto University, and a researcher on the meaning of life. To close the event, Miljoonasade Duo will take the stage, featuring as soloist the Tampere-based singer-songwriter Heikki Salo, also known from this fall’s Vain elämää TV show.
