Do heatwaves, storms or heavy rain affect your daily life or your sense of safety? Do weather conditions make it harder for you to access services? The City of Tampere is inviting residents to take part in a survey about these experiences.

The City of Tampere is inviting residents to take part in a survey designed to investigate the impact of extreme weather events on residents’ livelihoods and well-being. The survey is part of the AURORA project.

The survey examines residents’ experiences of climate-related risks such as heatwaves or flooding. It also asks for views on measures that could strengthen local preparedness and help communities cope with changing climate conditions. 

By responding to the survey, you will help build the knowledge base needed for climate adaptation and preparedness. Your responses will help identify residents’ needs and support the development of solutions for a sustainable, safe, and healthy Tampere in the future.

Completing the survey takes approximately 5 minutes. No personal data will be collected, and all responses are anonymous. Responses will be treated confidentially. The survey is available in Finnish and English.

What is AURORA?

AURORA is a project funded by the EU Horizon Europe programme that develops tools and approaches for anticipating and preparing for the health impacts of climate change. Tampere is one of the project's pilot cities, where new solutions are being tested in practice.
