Laulunsilta Bridge, which connects the Muotiala and Turtola, will be repaired during the week beginning 21 September. For most of the construction period, the bridge will remain open for walking and cycling, although the available space on the bridge will be reduced.

The repair works will begin on Monday morning, 21 September, and continue until Friday, 25 September. The bridge will be resurfaced between 9 pm and midnight on Tuesday 22 September, during which time it will be completely closed to pedestrians and cyclists. While the bridge is closed, an alternative route across Hervannan valtaväylä will be available via the Sotilaankatu bridge.

The work is commissioned by the City of Tampere's Urban Environment and Infrastructure Services, and the contractor is Destia Ltd.
