Community artists Hilkka Hyttinen and Susanna Lyly invited residents of Multisilta and Peltolammi to share their favourite places, where they were also photographed.
A favourite place may be a peaceful natural setting, a familiar street close to home, a place for meeting others, or an environment intertwined with personal memories. In Lyly’s photographs, residents are portrayed in places that are important to them, while the accompanying texts feature stories, memories and experiences collected by Hyttinen.
The exhibition is part of the Paikan henki & Lempipaikka community arts project created by Hyttinen and Lyly.

Peltolammi and Multisilta were part of Finland’s national Suburban Development Programme between 2020 and 2022. The neighbourhoods are now included in the Tampere Neighbourhood Development Programme 2026–2029, which gives special attention to their continued development. The City of Tampere Public Cultural Services contributes to this work, among other things by organising community arts activities.
The exhibition can be viewed from the street around the clock. During City Hall opening hours, it can also be visited indoors.
