According to The Culture Trip’s list of the best Christmas markets in Europe, the Tampere Christmas Market is in good company, as other top destinations include Strasbourg and Tallinn. Visitor feedback especially highlights the diversity of the selection, the beautiful setting, high-quality products, and warm-hearted service.
– The atmosphere of the Christmas Market is truly inviting; on Saturday, December 13th, a new visitor record was set when the Tampere Pulse system recorded over 40,000 visits to the area in a single day. Last year, the total number of visitors exceeded half a million, and naturally, we hope to at least match that this year, says Christmas Market producer Rami Lehtinen.
You can still enjoy the Christmas Market’s atmosphere for almost a week: the sales stalls are open daily until December 22nd, the Mulled Wine Restaurant serves until Christmas Eve, and there is also elf-themed programming for all ages.
